A library in a box

The Buriton-based Village-to-Village charity has launched a new initiative to help schoolchildren in the far north of Ghana’s Central Region. Every£2 raised can provide a new book for a new School Library initiative. There are very few supplementary reading books in schools at present – but they can make a huge difference to children’s opportunities to learn English at an early age. “Buy a Bog” in Rural Ghana

Buriton-Dominase Village-to-Village Group are working to provide households and schools in villages in the far north of Ghana’s Central Region with suitable latrines. Poor sanitation causes deadly diseases and affects the lives of young children in particular. Along with the new loos, we ensure that communities receive information about health and hygiene.
